Flu Clinics

Our Practice Nurses and District Nurse run flu injection sessions starting in October of each year. In accordance with Department of Health guidelines, we recommend an influenza injection and a pneumococcal injection for all those aged 65 and over. Both injections are also recommended for those or with the following medical conditions: asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and lung or kidney disease. The influenza injections needs to be repeated each year, but only one pneumococcal injection is needed for extended cover in most cases.
