Flu Clinics |
Our Practice Nurses and District Nurse run flu injection sessions
starting in October of each year. In accordance with Department of
Health guidelines, we recommend an influenza injection and a
pneumococcal injection for all those aged 65 and over. Both injections are also recommended for those or with
the following medical conditions: asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and
lung or kidney disease. The influenza injections needs to be repeated
each year, but only one pneumococcal injection is needed for extended
cover in most cases. |
