Between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am Monday to Friday
and 24 hours over weekends and bank holidays an emergency on call
service is available for patients.
In case of an emergency, you can dial the following:
0845 345 8995
or
NHS Direct 0845 46
47
If you ring the Surgery out of hours, the automated message will also
give you the number to call. The service offered will be an initial
assessment by the call centre, who may ask a
nurse to call you back. The nurse will assess your problem and either
ask a doctor to make a home visit or ask you to visit the
Primary Care Centre at the Horton Hospital,
Banbury. You may also at any time call NHS Direct
or 999 in life-threatening situations.
The Primary Care Trust runs an emergency clinic on our premises on
Saturday mornings from 9.00am to 12 noon. Access and appointments to
this clinic are through the emergency number 0845 345 8995 and the
service is for all three Brackley surgeries.
Please note that
Washington House patients wishing to make routine appointments, collect
prescriptions and access other services such as dressings, will not be
able to use this Saturday service for those purposes.
