John Davis, who operates 1st Physio in Banbury, has 21 years experience as a qualified physiotherapist and McKenzie therapist.

A member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, John was invited by the GP’s at Washington House Surgery to become a part of their team.

Physiotherapy is the most widely available of all the manipulation techniques used to help muscles, joints and other parts of the body to work to their full potential. Its basic aim is to help alleviate pain and restore normal movement and functional patterns that can help the body to return to its natural state.

The McKenzie Method is a comprehensive approach to the spine based on sound principles and fundamentals that, when understood and followed accordingly, are very successful. By assessing specific back problems, the therapist can first treat the problem then educate the recipient to look after their own back.
